Emily Boller will speak to the power of food to overcome food addictions
Emily Boller - Emily Boller hit rock bottom more than ten years ago. She was one hundred pounds overweight and sitting on a ticking bomb with dangerously high blood pressure and at risk for a major stroke or heart attack. She knew there had to be a better way to restore her health besides dieting, so she created an online art exhibit to help her shed the pounds. One year later, she was free of obesity, hypertension, prediabetes, and heart disease—and most importantly, she got rid of her lifelong addiction to processed food.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Fine Arts from Purdue University and certificates in Basic Nutrition and The Science of the Nutritarian Diet from the Nutritarian Education Institute. Today, she’s an author and inspirational speaker who has inspired and taught millions of people how to escape their addiction to processed food, lose weight, and restore their health. Author of "Starved to Obesity". Click here to learn more about Emily Boller. |
Jenny Brown will speak to the power of food to heal our earth
Jenny Brown - Jenny Brown is a longtime animal rights activist and Founder of Woodstock Farm Sanctuary in New York—one the country’s most recognized and respected sanctuaries for farmed animals. She previously worked in film and television, until she went undercover in Texas to document farmed animal abuse. That experience led her to dedicate her life to helping farmed animals. After 12 years of running the sanctuary, Jenny left to focus on a full-time national lecture tour, raising awareness about the plight of animals used and abused in food production. Jenny’s story and the work of the sanctuary has been featured in the New York Times, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, CNN, The Diane Rehm Show and more.
She is the author of "The Lucky Ones: My Passionate Fight For Farm Animals". Click here to learn more about Jenny Brown. |
